1Storyline:
Gus is a baseball scout. The team works to think he should retire. He asked to do a job benchmarking to prove himself. His friend, Pete, ask Guss estranged daughter, Mickey, if she could go with him to make sure he's OK as his eyes were failing. The doctor tells Gus he should get treated eyes, but he insists on doing his reconnaissance mission, which leads to North Carolina. Mickey decides to put your job on hold to go with him and she wants him to explain why he pushed. There he runs into Johnny, a scout from another team that had a promising player Gus never explored. Johnny and Mickey having an interest in one another.
