2Storyline:
In Canada, the author visited the Indian narrator Pi Patel and asked him to tell his life story. Pi tells the story of his childhood in Pondicherry, India, and the origin of his nickname. One day, his father, the owner of the zoo, explaining that the country no longer support the zoo and so decided to move to Canada, where the family owned animals will also be sold. They board a Japanese freighter with animals and blue, storm, followed by shipwrecking. Pi survive in a lifeboat with a zebra, the orangutan, hyena and Bengal tiger and men nicknamed Richard Parker. They are rare in the Pacific Ocean, with aggressive hyena and Rickard Parker hungry.
